Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the USO Job Board website and services (collectively, the “USO Job Board”). The USO Job Board provides free job search assistance to U.S. military members and their spouses who are registered USO Transition Program clients, while also enabling prospective employers to search for potential employees. By accessing the USO Job Board, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.
USO reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will be posted here, and will be effective immediately upon posting.
Services Provided
The USO Job Board provides a service to bring job seekers and potential employers together. Through the USO Job Board, job seekers and employers can register, create profiles/job posts and search for jobs and résumés.
User Consent and Privacy
By creating a profile on the USO Job Board, you voluntarily consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information for the purposes described herein, and in accordance with USO’s Privacy Policy (https://www.uso.org/privacy) and Bridge My Return’s Privacy Policy (https://www.bridgemyreturn.com/privacy-policy). Job seeker profile data will be available to employers who visit the USO Job Board. Job seeker profile data includes a name (which is mandatory), a LinkedIn profile URL (which is optional), and a user’s résumé (which is mandatory).
In addition, personal data provided by a user may be used by the USO to notify the user of news or promotional offers relating exclusively to the USO Job Board. The user will be provided with the option to unsubscribe from these notifications at any time.
Website Use
The USO Job Board may not be used for any of the following purposes:
- To contact USO Job Board users regarding any issues unrelated to the purposes of recruitment/job searches.
- To contact USO Job Board users to offer any services from a third-party company (e.g., commercial solicitations, advertisements).
- To post any illegal content, including, without limitation, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, threatening, stalking, defamatory, disparaging, sexually explicit, or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or military status.
Each user is required to provide truthful information in their USO Job Board profile and in any job posts.
It is prohibited to use any text or images from the USO Job Board for personal or commercial use.
User Information
The USO is not responsible for any untruthful and/or inaccurate information included in job posts and profiles on the USO Job Board.
The USO reserves the right to edit or delete any information submitted by any user to the USO Job Board.
Liability and Release
All users of the USO Job Board agree on behalf of themselves and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, “Releasing Parties”), to release, defend and hold harmless USO, as well as USO’s employees, officers, directors, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, bills, covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, lost profits, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, judgments, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against the Released Parties, which any of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter can, shall or may have, which in any way arise out of or result from user’s participation in the USO Job Board.

The USO Job Board uses Google Analytics to analyze the use of its website.
